May 2024
12 Hole Elective
(5 Classes) (20 Prizes)
18 Holes at full handicap. Players will use their 2 best net Par 3's, their 2 best net Par 5's, and their 8 best net Par 4's for the Best Net 12 Holes.
George Hogan Scramble
(6 Team Prizes) (Closest to the pin on all Par 3’s)
Players must sign up on the sheets posted in the locker room by 7:00 PM the Sunday prior to the tournament. This event is open to all club members. Teams will be chosen by the Tournament Committee. Rule sheets will be handed out on the day of the tournament. Tee times will be posted in the locker room. New members, who do not have USGA handicap, should sign up in the class they expect to be in. Players should arrive 30 minutes before their tee time. A picnic/cookout will follow the Tournament.
FAILURE TO SHOW FOR YOUR ASSIGNED TEE TIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION TO THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE WILL RESULT IN A 4 WEEK TOURNAMENT INELIGIBILITY!!!
Presidents Cup Qualifier
(5 Classes) (20 Prizes)
DO NOT COMPETE IN THIS TOURNAMENT IF YOU WILL NOT CONTINUE WITH MATCH PLAY.
18 holes at full handicap. Depending on participation, up to 8 individuals in each class will qualify to continue in match play. Individuals competing in match play MUST be available to play on Saturday and Sunday. Matches may be played, by mutual agreement anytime during the week. Matches will be played with the player’s current handicap but cannot exceed the maximum handicap for the class. Match play handicap strokes will be determined by “playing off” the low handicap. Dates for completion of each round of match play will be posted and failure to determine a match winner by the posted dates will result in a winner being determined by the Tournament Committee. (THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED)!!
Failure to compete in match play will result in ineligibility for any prizes.
1st Round Holiday Tournament
This tournament is played during the tournament weeks corresponding with Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. The best two net rounds will be totaled to arrive at the final Tournament score. Prizes will be awarded after the Labor Day round. A separate scorecard must be submitted for each round of this Tournament. Players will remain in the class in which they start. Current full handicap will be used for each round.
Duffer's Paradise

18 Holes at full handicap. Prizes are awarded to the four lowest net scores in each class.
Par 4 Tournament
(5 Classes) (20 Prizes)
Enter net scores from only the par 4 holes as per your handicap. Prizes to be awarded to the four lowest net scores in each class.

Memorial Tournament "Shamble"

This tournament is to honor former club members. Players must sign up on the sheets in the locker room by 7:00 PM the Sunday prior to the tournament. This event is open to all club members. Teams will be chosen by the Tournament Committee. Rule sheets will be given out on the day of the tournament. Tee times will be posted in the locker room. Players should arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled tee time. A picnic/cookout will follow the Tournament.

2-Man Alternate Hole Tournament
(No Classes) (6 Team Prizes)
Choose a playing partner from any class. Both players play 18 holes at full Handicap. Before the round begins, players choose either to score on the even holes or the odd holes.
Example: Player one scores are counted for holes 1, 3, 5, and 7 etc. Player 2 scores from the even holes.
Total from the best Odd/Even net score wins.
Fred Gerlach Memorial 2-Man Best Ball Tournament

2nd Round Holiday Tournament
If you missed the First Round of the Holiday Tournament then you must play in this round. For further information refer back to the description of the first Holiday Tournament.
Two Man Team
(No Classes) (6 Team Prizes)
18 holes of Medal Play at full handicap. Pick a partner from any class. The net scores of both players are added together to equal the team score.
Invitational Tournament
This is a two-day Premier Event. Please watch the tournament board in the locker room for details and applications.
Brighton International
(5 Classes) (20 Prizes)
18 Holes of Medal Play at full handicap.
Club Championship - 1st & 2nd Rounds (Qualifier)
Competition will be from the following tees:
- Open Class – Blue Tees
- Gold Class – Gold Tees
- All other Classes – White Tees
All competition will be scratch except for the C Class and Gold Class which will be handicap. Players must sign up on the sheets in the locker room by 7:00 PM the Sunday prior to the tournament and meet the eligibility requirements posted in the events book. Tee times for both days will be posted in the locker room. Flights will be cut after 36 holes.
A Senior Division, ages 60-69, and a Super Senior Division, age 70 and over, are in addition to the normal Club Championship. Senior divisions will be played 36 holes at full handicap, and winners will have their names placed on a plaque.

Club Championship - Final Round
(5 Classes) (20 Prizes)
The final 18 holes of the 54 hole tournament to determine the Club Champion and flight winners. If there is a tie for 1st place in any class, there will be a 3 hole playoff starting at Hole #1. If there isn't a winner after the first three holes, play will continue on Hole #4 in a “sudden death” format.

Four Man-Two Man Best Ball

18 holes at full handicap. Each player plays his own ball. The best two net scores on each hole counts.
Three Sixes Tournament

18 Holes at full handicap.
- 1st Prize: Low Net Score for 18 Holes
- 2nd Prize: Low Net Score for Holes 1 thru 6
- 3rd Prize: Low Net Score for Holes 7 thru 12
- 4th Prize: Low net Score for Holes 13 thru 18
3rd Round Holiday Tournament

18 Holes at full handicap. Prizes will be awarded after this round. Tournament information can be found under Tournament No. 5A.
Players Choice Tournament
(5 Classes) (20 Prizes)
Throw out two par 4's on the front side and two par 4's on the back side for your net score. Players play at full handicap.

Mystery Three
(5 Classes) (20 Prizes)
18 Holes at full handicap. Following the completion of the tournament, 3 holes will be picked at random. The tournament committee will subtract the scores recorded on these 3 holes for each submitted score card to determine the winners of the tournament.
Tournament of Champions
(No Classes) (5 Prizes)
18 holes at full handicap. Only first place winners of this year's events are eligible for this Tournament. A list of eligible players will be posted in the locker room.

18 holes at full handicap. This Tournament is for those members who did not qualify for the Tournament of Champions.

Tri-Golf-A-Thon and Dinner
(3 Classes) (4 Prizes in each class)
Format:
- 6 Holes of Best Ball
- 6 Holes of Scramble
- 6 Holes of Alternate Shot
There will also be Team Prizes on all Par 3 Holes. Additional Raffle/Door prizes will be given away. Dinner will follow the event at the designated location. This special will be limited to the first 50 teams that sign up and have paid. The rules will be passed out on the day of the event.
